REACH, Inc. is a community-based, private non-profit organization whose mission is to provide innovative opportunities for people in order to promote self-determination and full participation in the community, regardless of their ability. Starting with less than ten clients, three staff and a budget of a few thousand dollars, REACH has grown to serve more than 500 families and clients each year!
This year's Reach for the Stars hopes to raise $40,000 for REACH's incredibly important programming. From day services to supported employment to our inclusive childcare center, everything we do helps individuals with and without disabilities reach their full potential. With help from supporters like you, REACH can continue that mission for years to come.
What will be at the event?
At the event you will meet Reach, Inc.'s staff and members, enjoy a performance from Hearts in Harmony, have dinner and cocktails, participate in the silent auction and Fund-A-Need, learn more about Reach, Inc., and see the sponsors and employers who help us change the lives of the members we support.
What should I wear?
You're encouraged to wear semi-formal or business attire; but, there is no dress code. Wear what makes you most comfortable!
Do I need cash?
Cash is not necessary but you can bring it if you'd like! We will have ATM access provided by the Lismore Hotel on site if you prefer cash. We will also have PayPal and card reader payments available.
What do you mean in-person and virtual silent auction?
We want everyone to be able to participate in our event, even if they are not able to come in-person in November. This year we will be opening the virtual silent auction 10 days in advance for online bidding. We will be releasing additional items for bidding at the in-person event only. Just some special surprises for our special guests!
